This is the original Sports Hammock design. It holds your boat on its side. It was created to distribute the weight of kayaks across a much larger area, and it is also a great bracket style to use when floor space is an issue. It extends out from the wall only 22 inches.

Acadia
Our flat Sports Hammock is an adaptation of the original Penobscot design when we discovered that the webbing does so well at distributing the weight of the boat that it was no longer necessary to have the boat on it's side. You are able to store more boats in a vertical space with this bracket.
